Yeah not good could this team work through special team problems maybe but it doesn't seem likely. Night after night we watch opposing goalies stand on their head and opposing teams play like they want game more. Rangers record vs division is terrible. If you cant match intensity of other teams now its not gonna happen come playoff time. The similarities to last season are obvious .

Jan is right, as he says NYR can skate/win 5 on 5 vs anyone. PP is getting better, and the PK will right itself. Good game, but couldn't finish Isles off.

I think it comes down to an overly aggressive style of PK. We do miss G's ability to block shots but we did a good job on the first power play keeping them to the outside. It's nice to have Shorties, but every time we play aggressive on the point, it leaves players open in the slot/around the circle. cant have it

A little hyperbole... They have a .500 record vs the division. Not great but certainly not terrible.

No fan was more upset with last night's game than I was. I rarely get mad at regular season losses but last night really burned me up. That said, Rangers over the last 2 games clearly outplayed the Isles and Dev for a majority of the games. Special teams (PK mostly) has really been the negative.

I think the Rangers matched, even exceeded the intensity, of both teams they recently played but with so little margin for error, a bad penalty and an ineffective PK will make it very difficult to win.

I D K ..this game had the label of we dont need this back to back & a desperate Fishhd. team fresh & rested waiting to go.....
Isl team playing better as the game got longer ..whatta surprise
we got nothing to gain here except losing healthy players who IF.....
extend themselves to pacify the fan base ...or the coach staff (Trots day ) for not layin on line every time

If you believe we have /had 10 now 8 gms left to PREP for the P O's ......
You are understanding of an outcome like the last 2
very competitive ,puck luck voodoo played so much a part of both NJ's NYI's wins
Most important : no injuries and some great play & effort from team

MAc hit to his hand .I literally jumped up & screamed ...
THere it is the broken Hand
Out 6-8 wks or surgery & pins ..out till next year ..O M G its that fast .....ALMOST

Try to enjoy &understand : our team never gets to prep for PO's
rest & rotate try new combos & lines or cement combos found & are working
Relax & let the man take us into PO's ..if it dont work ...we will atlk
BUT i am dying for PO's to start ,these teams are like nite & day
sum desperate (Fishhds) sum flush (NYR ) palying out the string & workin it out

L G R ..keep your head while others around are losing theres L G R

It wasn't THAT bad of a game by the rags. End of the season, everyone is banged up and tired. The road trip out west hurts the most because getting over that time travel crap is tough.

Who do you guys want to face in the play offs? The east is a gong show.

5v5 the Rangers are below average for Corsi and Fenwick %. Not saying the Rangers aren't a good team, but they are riding a very high PDO (fluky shooting % and high save%), 5th highest in the league. I think the Rangers are a good team, but I don't think they are an elite team despite their record.

Isles are also very lucky to be where they are right now. I believe the team is worse than their current record.

With us gonna be in the Atlantic Division bracket I'm fine with whoever ends up on top there, likely Montreal. Game 1 will be on the road & that's where we've played best.

Here's hoping you guys get in & upset the Caps.

Unless they lose 6-0 Or something i really don't get to worked up about losses either. They've been better then the other team 3 games in a row. It's not an excuse it's just a fact. The effort and will were there which is what I'm most worried about. The PK needs improves hopefully Girardi returning helps it

Last night pissed me off because it was the Isles...not the lack of effort.

Definitely want to see the PK improve with or without G. Think he will help tho.

It really comes down to me having a student who is an Islander fan and is probably gonna try to give me sh!t today.

I think that would help Dundee's cause a lot, if he just used a LITTLE, not asking for perfection, a LITTLE grammar. Properly spelled words, paragraphs, etc.

I'm not a gramma major either, but c'mon now...see what I did there?

I'm not disagreeing, all I'm saying is the "Rangers can skate with anyone 5v5" may be overselling them a bit.
